What is Line Up?
Line Up is a web app that businesses can use to create and manage a virtual queue. There is no app to download and no login required.
What can it be used for?
Think of it as a virtual version of those "take a number" systems. Line Up creates a virtual queue that lets people hold their place without having to stand in line.
How does it work?
Businesses can set up their own virtual queue by simply entering the business name. This will generate a unique QR and store code that customers will use to join. Please see our suggestions above for how to manage the flow of people.
Do I need to make an account?
No. If you are a business owner, just bookmark the unique page that is generated so you can easily return to it.
What devices does this work on?
The site is optimized for phones and tablets but it is accessible from any device with a modern web browser.
How was it made?
The site was made using freely accessible Google web tools such as Firebase Realtime Database and Google Charts API.
